My main issue here… Microsoft could be a lot clearer. What you receive from Azure Cost Management isn’t particularly helpful.

This follow-on post expands on the work my friend (Oli) and I did to demystify cost management within this great Microsoft data product.

I’m an Enterprise Data Architect and Oli is a Data Engineer; consequently, I approach things from a ‘zoom out’ viewpoint and he loves the detail. However, on this occasion, we both agreed the best way forward was to work through the costs slowly and methodically.
